NAACP Falls Further into Irrelevance
You know it’s pretty sad to see a once influential and important organization embarrass itself over and over straining to find a purpose when so much of what they started out to accomplish in society has been realized.
I started to really notice the decline when a story popped up about protests over a greeting card.
NAACP Urges Hallmark to Pull ‘Racist’ Card From Shelves
LOS ANGELES — A space-themed, talking Hallmark graduation card is being pulled from store shelves because of the card’s reference to a black hole.
But members of the Los Angeles NAACP say the message sounds like “black whore” in the card’s audio recording. That’s how they hear it, and they say it’s racist, KABC-TV in Los Angeles reported.
“That was very demeaning to African-American women when it made reference to African-American women as whores, and at the end it says ‘watch your back,’” said Leon Jenkins of the Los Angeles NAACP.
The Hallmark card reads, “Hey world, we are officially putting you on notice,” before playfully touting the ambitious future of the new graduate.
OK, so I thought this was the Los Angeles chapter, La-la land has always been a little strange, if they take umbrage to a few misconstrued words on a Hallmark card then it’s to be expected I suppose.
Although personally I thought it was a stretch just to justify their existence.
But then came the NAACP’s resolution calling on the Tea Party to “repudiate racist elements” from their movement.
I live in the really deep south and have been to several tea party rallies here and have never seen anything that could remotely be construed as racist.

Sarah Disappoints
It’s a shame really, while the tea party tries to purge the republican party of it’s RINO’s she goes and endorses one.
Palin Stands By Fiorina Endorsement Amid Backlash From Supporters
Despite facing fierce criticism from her supporters, Tea Party hero Sarah Palin isn’t backing down from her endorsement of former Hewlett-Packard executive Carly Fiorina in the GOP’s U.S. Senate primary in California.
Palin’s endorsement surprised and outraged many of her supporters who expected her to pick Tea Party favorite Chuck DeVore.
“The governor is never one to go with the flow,” Jason Recher, a spokesman for Palin said, explaining that the former Alaska governor respects the differing opinions but is sticking by her choice. “She is a very independent person, and she shakes things up in establishments — including grassroots establishments — all the time.”
The former Republican vice presidential candidate made the endorsement on her Facebook page, saying Fiorina’s experience running a major corporation is sorely lacking in Washington.
People are not going to put up with the same old this election cycle, it’s time to stop looking to others and decide for ourselves who’s worthy of our vote.

The Purging of the RINO’s has Begun
The old school republicans who didn’t bother to represent the people are in for a rude awakening.
Utah Republican Sen. Bob Bennett Ousted in Re-Election Bid
Republican U.S. Sen. Bob Bennett of Utah has been ousted in his bid to serve a fourth term after failing to make it out of the Utah GOP convention.
Attorney Mike Lee and businessman Tim Bridgewater are the remaining Republican candidates after Saturday’s vote. After a third round of voting, neither nominee received 60 percent of the vote, so both will head to the Utah primary on June 22.
Bennett was a distant third in the second round of voting among nearly 3,500 delegates, netting about 27 percent of the vote.
Wiping away tears, Bennett called the political atmosphere “toxic” and said it’s, “Clear some of the votes I’ve cast have added to that toxic environment, looking back with one or two minor exceptions, I wouldn’t cast any any differently, even if I knew it would cost me my career.”
The three-term senator was targeted by Tea Party activists and other groups for supporting the first traunch of TARP, or Troubled Assets Relief Program.
I doubt very seriously that any politician will be safe, the republican party has ignored the people long enough and it’s time to get fresh blood in there.
They know it and we know it, no more second chances, replace them all!!!

Geraldo Rivera:Leftist Shill
I suppose FOX News has an obligation to occasionally allow a few barking leftist moonbats on their network on account of the whole “fair and balanced” thing they advertise.
But why Geraldo Rivera?
This guy has been stinkin’ up the air waves for decades.
Here he is talking to Mark Williams and Mike Huckabee after airing a piece that mentions tea party protesters and militias together.
Williams and Huckabee do a pretty good job of putting him in his place although notice Geraldo’s condescending little smirk at around the 2:27 mark and his disingenuous denial that he spins his so-called” stories”.
There’s no doubt in my mind that he’ll do whatever it takes to push the idea that tea party protesters are nothing more than racist, militia separatists in support of this lying screed by Bill Clinton.
Clinton draws parallels between ‘upheaval’ of 1995, today
It’s unbelievable that people still listen to these guys.

Biggest Liberal Dumb ass in the World
Yeah I know the title’s redundant.
Got this pic from Michelle Malkin’s blog of a libturd trying to “infiltrate” a tea party protest in Columbus, Ohio.
You’d have to be blind not to see through this, which is a mystery unto itself. Are these clowns so disconnected that they can’t even envision the nuance needed to actually execute a covert infiltration?
I don’t think we got much to worry about.

Tea Party infested with troofers?
Ran across this on Michelle Malkins blog.
It seems that Debra Medina (Tea Party activist and gubernatorial candidate in Texas) was interviewed by Glenn Beck on his radio show and asks her directly if she believes that the government was in any way involved in bringing down the World Trade Center towers on 9/11.
Check out her answer.
The fastest way for the tea party to be branded with the iron of crackpots and crazies by both sides is to have this kind of thinking associated with it.
This can’t possibly be the best we can do, the tea party needs to distance themselves immediately from Debra Medina and only support believable and stable candidates for public office or it will find itself in the same trash heap as the “Ron Paul Revolution”.

Blood at Health Care Rally
Got the link to this story from Michelle Malkins blog.
Man’s Finger Bitten Off in Scuffle at Health Care Rally
THOUSAND OAKS — A 65-year-old man had his finger bitten off Wednesday evening at a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
Sheriff’s investigators were called to Hillcrest and Lynn Road at 7:26 p.m.
About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform.
A group of anti-health care reform protesters formed across the street.
The finger-biting incident occurred after a member of the group protesting health care reform, William Rice, 65, of Newbury Park, became involved in a heated discussion with a member of Code Pink, sheriff’s Capt. Ross Bonfiglio said.
~snip~
There has already been other incidences.
SEIU MEMBER SMASHES FEMALE TEA PARTY PROTESTER IN FACE (Video)
The thing is that there was no violence until the supporters of Obama started counter protesting the tea party protesters and bringing in members of the SEIU union .
So the question is, how far is the left willing to escalate the violence against peaceful tea party protesters?
