Jan Brewer’s got em, Obama Don’t

That’s the conclusion Sarah Palin’s come to.

Palin Says Brewer Has Something Obama Lacks: ‘Cojones’

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Sunday praised Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer for defending her state’s immigration law in court against the Justice Department’s lawsuit, saying she has the “cojones” that President Obama is lacking on border security.

Though the Obama administration this month will begin deploying 1,200 more National Guard troops to the southwest border, Palin said on “Fox News Sunday” that Brewer is tackling border security and putting her faith in legal immigration where Obama is not.

“Jan Brewer has the cojones that our president does not have,” she said. “If our own president will not enforce our federal law, more power to Jan Brewer.”

Not only will Obama not enforce federal law but he and his so-called justice department attack those who do.

This administration has done everything diametrically opposite of what the American people want and they will pay for it this Novemeber.

Haughty *POSOTUS

Obama’s foreign policy has been a disaster for everyone but the Islamic terrorist countries he’s been busy pandering to.
So much so that Netanyahu cancels his trip to Obama’s nuclear summit.
Yet he still has time to take a swipe at Sarah Palin who has actually held executive offices and dealt with a budget.
The man is a total POS.

*Piece of Sh*t of the United States.

Lots of Name Calling but no Facts

Sarah Palins facebook facebook entry on health care has sure stirred up the minions of Obama’s pro health care brigade.

The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

~snip~

Her posting has drawn out all sorts insults up to and including faux outrage that she would “use” her own baby as a “cheap and sickening” talking point.

But as usual there is nothing to argue against the very point that she talks about, which is that under Obama care medical decisions affecting everyone in this country will be decided by what is basically a “central planning” committee.

As  a matter of fact, no where have I yet seen any attempt to provide facts or cognisant arguments saying why Sarah Palin is wrong, just that she is followed by insults.

Way to keep the debate classy libtards.

On another note Congress woman Michelle Bachman stood up in the U.S. House quoting Obamas own advisers laying out their positions on health care policy.

And again instead of offering any kind of considered rebuttal, she is described as the “queen of GOP dementia” and giving a “rant” that is “certifiable”.

Truth is there can be no debate on health care if everytime someone voices their concerns about what they percieve to be in the bill they are shouted down and insulted for bringing up the issue.

Which says to me that there never was any intention to debate it, just to ram it through,

Sarah Palin’s on the Loose

Sarah Palin is no longer governor of Alaska but she didn’t go quietly in the night,

Palin’s “Mad as Hell” Speech

Here’s the money quote:

“You represent what could and should be a respected, honest profession that could and should be a cornerstone of our democracy,” she said. “Democracy depends on you, and that is why-that’s why our troops are willing to die for you. So how about in honor of the American soldier, you quit makin’ things up.”

Whatever she has planned for the future she ain’t saying, but I doubt very seriously we will hear the end of her, nor the end of the personal attacks against her and her family.

I don’t know what it is about this woman that has pundits and commentators on the left so determined to marginalize and vilify her….other that the fact that when she accepted the invitation from the McCain campaign to run as the VP nominee people who were depressed and uninterested in the republican party suddenly sat up and took notice.

She connected to the base and maybe that’s what has them scared….and it should. Obama’s poll numbers are not looking as rosy as they did a month ago and neither is congresses.

Pelosi doesn’t care what your opinion of her is.

Maybe that’s another reason they despise Palin, people feel that she does care and she seems to communicate that. That’s a lot better than the pompous arrogance we’ve been getting from the White House and congress for the last few months…..and I don’t see it getting any better.

Maybe what the pundits and commentators are really telling us with their attacks on Palin is that she truly does have a chance in the next presidential election, with Obama and Pelosi’s help that is and that they have to do something to prevent that.

On Letterman and Sarah Palin

I lived in Indianapolis back when David Letterman did the local weather, there was no doubt that he was a little weird and when he left I just figured his goofy antics finally got him fired.

Truth is I never gave him a single thought until the debut of “Late Night with David Letterman”. I watched it on and off for a couple of years until I basically got bored of his same old routine and moved on with things in my own life. Until a few days ago when this video started making it’s way around the web after Letterman made several jokes about Sarah Palin and her daughters.

His “jokes” have apparently prompted one republican lawmaker to demand his firing from CBS.

New York Lawmaker Calls on CBS to Fire Letterman for Palin Comments

New York State Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb, a Republican, is calling on the CEO of CBS to fire David Letterman for crude comments he made about Sarah Palin and her daughter.

In the letter to CBS chief Les Moonves, Kolb said he took Letterman to task for the “shockingly inappropriate” jokes. While I also think Lettermans joke were over the top, I really don’t consider them any worse than any of the other attacks made by the media against Republicans and conservatives.

“As the proud father of a daughter, and as a husband, I wanted Mr. Moonves to hear from me directly about Mr. Letterman’s disparaging remarks,” Kolb said in a written statement.

“Firing Mr. Letterman would send a clear message that CBS will not tolerate any of its employees — even an established media figure like Mr. Letterman — making demeaning and degrading comments about women.”

~snip~

While I also think Letterman’s jokes were over the top, I really don’t consider them any worse than any of the other attacks made by the media against Republicans and conservatives over the last couple of months.

The media elite have been wallowing in their own pit of self congratulatory slime since Obama ascended to the presidency. They have no intention of stopping now.

Truth is, David Letterman has been clamoring for attention for decades, and in his mind he has what he has been striving for.

The worse thing that could be done to Letterman, and the one thing that would really hurt him the most, would be to ignore him.

Republicans Disinvite Palin to Major Fundraiser

Sarah Palin is out and Newt Gingrich is in.

Congressional Republicans decided Tuesday to ditch the former GOP vice presidential nominee in favor of the former House speaker for the critical House-Senate fundraising dinner in June 8 in Washington. It’s the marquee Republican event to raise money for GOP House and Senate candidates.

Just weeks ago, the House and Senate Republican campaign committees were giddy at securing the telegenic Palin for the dinner. But then things grew murky. At the time, the Alaska governor’s office told FOX News that Palin was still considering the invitation and had not yet made a decision. Meantime, spokespersons for the committees insisted that Palin was scheduled and it was just a misunderstanding between the Alaska governor’s office and Palin’s political action committee, SarahPAC, that accepted the invite.

Sources familiar with the Palin snub fumed about how the governor handled this.

“She was a disaster,” one Republican source told FOX News. “We had confirmation.”
~snip~

Sarcasm on/* Yeah, lets disenfranchise a popular and photogenic conservative from the party, that will really make it better. */sarcasm off

No matter how anybody feels about Sarah Palin the fact is that she connects with the base of the party, she espouses the views of many conservatives and she has the ability to rally the base.

Snubbing her is a snub to everyone who supported her during the election….and is a huge mistake.

Targeting Sarah

Apparently it’s not enough that Obama’s been elected to office. Those who support the democrat party and identify themselves as progressives remain on the attack against anyone who could possibly gain enough support to oppose Obama in 2012.

Palin Fascination, Scorn Shows No Sign of Receding

Even in defeat, Sarah Palin is a constant topic of conversation — and scorn.

Though Palin’s official status in the Republican Party is governor of the nation’s least populated state, her time as No. 2 on the GOP presidential ticket has made her public enemy No. 1 in some quarters. The fascination with Palin shows no sign of letting up, even as the victor of the 2008 race prepares to enter the White House.

“The left certainly has targeted her and I think they see her as a potential 2012 Republican nominee,” said Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics.

A LexisNexis search shows Palin has generated roughly twice the news coverage as Vice President-elect Joe Biden.

Palin has not said whether she plans to run for national office again in 2012. The opening leaves her plenty of time to map out her career path, but it also leaves critics plenty of time to sharpen their attacks.

The Huffington Post, on its Palin-bashing Web page, explores “Sarah Palin Naked” and names her “The Dumbest Thing of 2008.”

At the New York Review of Books, intellectuals body-check the country’s most famous hockey mom.

“She has spent much more time in church than she has studying foreign policy,” wrote Frances Fitzgerald. “And the habit of mind these churches instill has little to do with diplomacy or peacemaking.”

British author Timothy Garton Ash wrote that, “Palin … like George W. Bush, reinforces every European cliche about the otherness (cowboyness, hickiness, wackiness) of Americans.”

And Pulitzer Prize winner Russell Baker said simply: “Ms. Palin could be the next Nixon.”

After 8 years of “Bush Derangement Syndrome” you’d think we could get a little break but it seems that the left needs this kind of diversion. Without outrage they have no purpose.

And speaking of “Bush Derangement Syndrome”, Breitbart.com posted this on it’s website.

Bush to give farewell address Thursday night

Light on comments there were still the obligatory “don’t let the door hit you in the ass!” comment and one hoping for the president and his wifes demise.

11. braaaaa   January 12th, 2009 – 1:56 pm
I hope bush and his dipsh*it wife die in a house fire.

But the real fun is over at the “social networking” sites like Digg where the unhinged truly had an opportunity to let go with several posters showing how imaginative they can be fantasizing over the death of another human being.

There’s been no real change, the haters still hate and the bile still festers.

Liberals, the most sexist of all

Former Clinton strategists and other academicians agree, liberals are the most sexist of all.

Clinton aides: Palin treatment sexist

Georgetown University professor Deborah Tannen, who has written best-selling books on gender differences, said she agrees with complaints that Palin skeptics — including prominent voices in the news media — have crossed a line by speculating about whether the Alaska governor is neglecting her family in pursuit of national office.

“What we’re dealing with now, there’s nothing subtle about it,” said Tannen. “We’re dealing with the assumption that child-rearing is the job of women and not men. Is it sexist? Yes.”

“There’s no way those questions would be asked of a male candidate,” said Howard Wolfson a former top strategist for Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Argue her policies, argue her beliefs, but to suggest she is unqualified because she is a mother and a wife sets back equality for women 100 years……..and it’s the liberals who are doing it.

This all resembles the days back when women were considered poor choices for leadership or managerial positions because of their “monthy visitor” problems. Who knew that liberals could be so sexist?

Palins Daughter Reported Pregnant

Here ya go liberals, Reuters is reporting Sarah Palin’s announcement that her 17 year old daughter is pregnant.

To rebut rumors, Palin says daughter, 17, pregnant

ST. PAUL (Reuters) – The 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant, Palin said on Monday in an announcement intended to knock down rumors by liberal bloggers that Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover up for her child.

Bristol Palin, one of Alaska Gov. Palin’s five children with her husband, Todd, is about five months pregnant and is going to keep the child and marry the father, the Palins said in a statement released by the campaign of Republican presidential candidate John McCain.

Bristol Palin made the decision on her own to keep the baby, McCain aides said.

So this should end the rumours of Sarah Palins supposed false pregnancy .

While the family has asked that their privacy be respected I’m sure this news will result in plenty of tongue wagging from the hypocrites on the left.
