Been some noise tonight about another possible terrorist attempt on a airliner from DC to Denver involving a diplomat from Qatar.

I can’t help thinking that this incident is somewhat prescient upon the heels of Obama’s new policy concerning removing the terms Islam and Jihad from the national security strategy documents.
The truth is that now Islamic terrorists don’t need explosives, violence or death to traumatize Americans….a little cigarette smoke from the bathrooms will do.
They got us right where they want us now.

Here’s another “great idea” from the Obamessiah that’s not quite panning out the way he hoped.
White House Considers Moving 9/11 Trial Out of New York City
Bowing to intense and deepening bipartisan opposition to conducting the criminal trials for the 9/11 hijackers in the heart of New York City, the Obama White House has begun discussing alternative locations with the Justice Department, senior administration officials told Fox News.
The White House denied a New York Daily News report that it ordered the Department of Justice to find a new location for the trials, which are sure to attract massive publicity and require intense security preparations wherever they are held.
However, senior administration officials confirm alternative trial locations are being sought because Congress is almost sure to deny President Obama the funds necessary to conduct the trials, as originally planned, in the federal courthouse mere blocks away from the Twin Towers, the epicenter of the 9/11 attacks that took the lives of nearly 3,000 civilians.

Dropping the Ball
Hindsight is always 20/20, but do we have the luxury of hindsight when lives are at stake?
As the investigation of the Fort Hood shootings continue more and more disturbing information comes out about the alleged shooter Nidal Malik Hasan.
The liberal leaning left wing media almost immediately started looking into any other reason than Islam for the shooters actions, even going so far as to create a new emotional disorder which I call “premature post traumatic stress disorder“.
Even the Army Chief of Staff tries to direct everyone away from the direct cause of this rampage.

The warning signs were all there: the justification of homicide bombings; the spewing of anti-American hatred; the efforts to reach Al Qaeda …But the U.S. military treated Major Nidal Malik Hasan with kid gloves, even after giving him a poor performance review. And though he was on the radar screen of at least one U.S. intelligence agency, no action was taken that might have prevented the Army psychiatrist from allegedly gunning down 13 people and wounding 29 others in the Fort Hood massacre last week.
We have reached a crossroads in this country, the military exists to break things and kill people in the interest of our national policy. They do not exist to force social policy and change.
Anything that becomes an impediment to that primary mission becomes a danger to implementing the policy of the people. Sedition is sedition no matter the context, when you become a member of the United States military you swear an oath to defend the nation against enemies both foreign and domestic.
If anyone can’t uphold that oath for any reason then they need to be released then investigated…….period.
