“It ain’t no more, okay?”

Got this from Michelle Malkins blog.

“This used to be America!” the protester exclaims.

The officer retorts: “It ain’t no more, okay?”

Keep those words in mind during the midterm elections, because this is America and the more they repress us the more we will speak out.

Now the Waiting Begins

For weeks opponents of Obama’s proposed over haul of health care have been described as “mobsters”, “astroturfed” and basically crazed loons.

Everyone on the left has been asking them “what are you all afraid of, government health care will cover everybody.”

If they point to the “cash for clunkers” program then it’s no wonder seniors are terrified.

Dealers Hope for Payment as Clunkers Program Ends

WASHINGTON — The wildly successful $3 billion Cash for Clunkers program has generated more than half a million car sales. Now dealers hope to get paid.

The deadline for car dealers to submit reimbursement paperwork for the federal car incentives ended Tuesday night, a day after the government halted new sales under the program. Dealers received extra time to submit records for the car rebates as the government’s Web site set up to handle the program struggled to accommodate dealers’ rush to submit last minute claims.

With hundreds of thousands of consumers having driven off in new fuel-efficient vehicles since the program began in late July, many car dealers worry about further delays in getting repaid for the $3,500 or $4,500 per vehicle incentives despite assurances from the Obama administration.

Through early Tuesday, dealers had submitted 665,000 vouchers totaling $2.77 billion. Many dealerships have worked overnight in recent days to submit each trade-in vehicle’s 13-page reimbursement application, including the title, proof of registration and proof of insurance.

If the administration can point to just one government program run with efficiency and processing of payments on time and without the clutter of reams of red tape then maybe they could get a little support.

But then again the biggest obstacle the government has to over come is itself.

More Wisdom From the ‘Obamessiah’

If Obama can refer to his own grandmother in these terms then how do you think he feels about those he doesn’t know?
Obama Throws His Grandmother under a Bus, Again

What’s the deal with Barack Obama selling out his own grandmother every chance he gets?

In another example of Obama’s lousy attitude towards the woman that raised him since he was 10 years old, the New York Times this weekend recalled an interview in which he criticized his grandmother, Madelyn Durham, for electing to undergo hip replacement surgery despite being terminally ill:

“I don’t know how much that hip replacement cost… (I don’t feel) society making those decisions to give my grandmother, or everybody else’s aging grandparents or parents, a hip replacement when they’re terminally ill is a sustainable model.”

“I mean, the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health care bill.”

N. Korea Threatens Retaliation on U.S., S. Korea Over Sanctions

SEOUL, South Korea  —  North Korea threatened Sunday to retaliate against the U.S. and South Korea over sanctions imposed on the communist regime, a day after South Korea’s president renewed his offer of conditional aid for the impoverished country.
The U.S. is moving to enforce U.N. as well as its own sanctions against North Korea to punish its second nuclear test in May and a spate of missile tests.
The U.N. sanctions strengthened an arms embargo and authorized ship searches on the high seas to try and rein in Pyongyang’s nuclear program. The council also ordered an asset freeze and travel ban on companies and individuals allegedly involved.

If the U.S. and South Korea “tighten ‘sanctions’ and push ‘confrontation’ to an extreme phase, the (North) will react to them with merciless retaliation … and an all-out war of justice,” said a North Korean military statement reported Sunday by the country’s official Korean Central News Agency.

Lots of Name Calling but no Facts

Sarah Palins facebook facebook entry on health care has sure stirred up the minions of Obama’s pro health care brigade.

The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

~snip~

Her posting has drawn out all sorts insults up to and including faux outrage that she would “use” her own baby as a “cheap and sickening” talking point.

But as usual there is nothing to argue against the very point that she talks about, which is that under Obama care medical decisions affecting everyone in this country will be decided by what is basically a “central planning” committee.

As  a matter of fact, no where have I yet seen any attempt to provide facts or cognisant arguments saying why Sarah Palin is wrong, just that she is followed by insults.

Way to keep the debate classy libtards.

On another note Congress woman Michelle Bachman stood up in the U.S. House quoting Obamas own advisers laying out their positions on health care policy.

And again instead of offering any kind of considered rebuttal, she is described as the “queen of GOP dementia” and giving a “rant” that is “certifiable”.

Truth is there can be no debate on health care if everytime someone voices their concerns about what they percieve to be in the bill they are shouted down and insulted for bringing up the issue.

Which says to me that there never was any intention to debate it, just to ram it through,
